ing being held in the Royal
Connaught Hotel, . Hamilton,
June 9, 10, and 11.
After the noon lunch, a
program of music was pres-
ented by pupils from the
Walkerton Public School; un
,der the direction of Miss
Elliott These talented child-
ren had just recently Made,,
an excellent showing at the
Musical , Festival in Owen
Sound.
The guest speaker for the
afternoon was Mrs. Rose:
Murray of Owen Sound, who
spoke on her favourite sub-
ject, Food, emphasizing the
art of cooking for guests.
Mrs. Murray has had a
varied career, one segment
of which has been to publish
a Christmas Menu Cook
Book which is now on. sale.
Sheis currently working on a
second book.
The committee for arrang-
ing a Special Silver Anniver-
sary Celebration at the Fall
Meeting, met briefly to begin
making preparations for this
important event.
