one each with a 3 1 win. On
Fridaynight in Lucknow, the
Royals won a barn burner in
overtime by a 4 3 score.
With Wingham leading
the series -two games to one,

to the wall. They had to
travel to Win. ham Sunda
night and come up with..a
win. And win they did,

Yes folks, three overtime
periods.
Talk about close hockey
games, the Lancers opened
the scoring, on a goal by Patti
Frayne. Wingham tied the,
game four minutes later on a
goal by Steve "Caslick. The
score at the end of one period
was tied at one all.
, On the second period Luck -
now scored first again. when
Brian Blair found the bact:of
the net. Wingham came back.
five minutes later with a goal
by Rick Jacklin and the score
was tied at 2 - 2 after the
second period.
There were ..four goals
scored in
the third period,
two by each team.. Lancer
goals came from MacKinnon
and .Murray. •
The score being tied at the
end of regulation time, a ten
minute overtime period was .
played. Wingham scored at
7.49 to take a 5 - 4 lead.
Things didn't look good for
Lucknow but at 8.51 Carl
Stanley scored from Ron Wil-
son and lan Montgomery to
tie. the game again. at 5 - 5.
The game remained tied
and after . a short break

were a weary bunch and
finally a goal was scored at
3.16 by Ian Montgomery' with
help from Andy Shedden and
Carl' Stanley.
The . Lancers and the Roy-
als willplay the fifth and
deciding ' game this Friday
night at 8.30 p.m. in Luck -
now. So come on out and see
some great hockey.

The Lancer's .Andy Sheddon ded the game forcing an
overtime period with this goal on`Royal 'goalie Hugh Nichol
in Friday .night's game at the, Lucknow Arena. The Royals
won the game 4 ' 3 in ,overtime. On Sunday night in
Wingham the Lancers won 6 - S in the third overtime period.
The series is now tied,two each. The fifth and deciding game
of the series will be .played in Lucknow Friday night at 8.30
