Roulston of Kitchener called
at the house here on Monday
of last week Jan. 26. Harry is
the son of the late Rev. and
Mrs. Edgar Roulston - both
natives of Huron township
and Ripley. •
He expressed his thanks

the recent passing of his
mother ; - ,the: former
klorence - Chapman. Mrs.
Harry Roulston told us that
she was Dorothy Young of
Londen before her marriage
to Harry Roulston.

Ripley Enquirer. Later it
was purchased by George
Mooney and it became the
Ripley Express.
Mr. and Mrs. Roulston
have their' summer cottage.

Skating Club .are trying
something different this year
to raise money. •
On this Friday afternoon

Tupperware And Stanley

this recreation in the Ripley'

the Weather settles'.

perature must be just a few
degrees below the freezing
mark bit the wind chill'

Two more months of
'winter are ahead - February
and March. Not counting
those lastdays in November
there hasalreadybeen two,
months of snow squalls and.
low temperatures
December and January.
So from here on we must
be on the down hill side as far
as winter is concerned.

cabin fever after all:

Hospital are now in the
Pinecrest Manor _ Nursing
Home in Lacknow.
About 10 minutes to eleven
Monday =flung Feb. 2 the
sun was able to shine
through the cloudy sky for
the first time and „shadows
could be seen -on the snow.
But the groundhogs were
missing and at noon the sun
was shining brightly.

club "Super Sewers" held its
first meeting at the home of
Mrs. Annetta Robinson in
Ripley.
They discussed the kinds
of cloth and patterns to be
used. All the members
participated by making
-measurements of samples.
