All of a sudden Mrs. Claus came running and breathlessly she said, "1 just, looked in Willy's room and all I found were his good green pyjamas on his warm bed." "Dear, oh dear,"' cried Santa Claus. In the morning Willy came back. Willy said, "Here moma and papa." Mrs. Claus was so happy, so was Santa. Willy slept for two hours. Later they ate a big dinner to cele- brate Willy's trip on Christmas Eve. Christmas Trees Once upon a time my dad and I went out and had to get a tree. We found a tree. It, was too small. We went on. We Saw a tree. It was too big. We took it anyway and went home. I got the saw and cut the tree to the right size for the 'house. Everybody in my house puts gifts under the tree on the day of Christmas. We had gifts all over. I opened the gifts on the couch in the house. Chmstmas time is fun. • By Darrin Humphrey, Grade 4, Kinloss Central.
