Remember that Christmas?
A Christmas To Remember
One of the Christmas's I will never
forget was the one two years ago. It was
December 25, Christmas Day. There was a
big snow storm in the morning. After 12
noon the worst part of the storm had let its
power go. The Christmas party was in
Blyth. The road between Wingham, Blyth,
and Belgrave is very wicked in winter. But
we did not even get that far.
We weren't even five miles, on the
Whitechurch road, when we went into the
ditch. It did not look like a ditch because it
was full of snow. It was lucky that we
weren't too far from this guy's house that
knows dad. Dad walked there and about an
half hour later came back with the guy and
his tractor. He pulled us out and we drove
home. Hefollowed us home just in case we
went in the ditch again.

The Best Christmas I Can Remember
The best Christmas was last year when
we were opening presents but now there
were' no more, so -dad told mom and 1 to
close our eyes. Dad, Roxanne, Denny,
• Kevin, and Stephanie went out of the
family room and brought back two other
presents. When they came back they gave
me an electric blanket and gave mom a
hockey stick. I didn't 'want to trade but I
• knew I would get a turn to 'sleep in their
bed when it was turned oii.

The True Meaning of Christmas
To me the true meaning of Christmas is
the birth of Jesus. God sent His only Son to
save us from our sins. EventhoughJesus
was very important he was bon in a stable
lying in a manger. We are very thankful
• that God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the
cross for our skis.
At Christmas time everybody celebrates
• with presents and candy, but we should'
think about the true meaning also. 'So, this
Christmas I think you should at least think
about the true meaning. .

and, talked some more. We also, ate and did
chores. We did all this because we had a
storm and • couldn't get out. The next
morning the storm stopped and we said our
farewells,

• The Very First Christmas
The.first Christmas was the day when
Jesus was born. The shepherds and the
wise men travelled a far distance to see
Jesus. Their guide was a very bright star,
brighter than any other star. They followed
it until it stopped above a barn in Bethle-
hem. When they got inside, there Jesus lay
in a manger filled with straw, ,wrapped in
swaddling clothes. They offered gifts of
gold, myrrh and frankincense. The Lord
Jesus, son of God, has finally come. This is
how the first Christmas came about. This is
what we should be celebrating on Christ-
mas Day. This is why we give presents on
Christmas Day, and this is why we give
presents to celebrate Jesus' birthday.

• What Christmas Means To Me
• I am going to tell, whoever is reading
• this, what Christmas means to .me. .
• Whenever Christmas is . near, I get
excited. You know why, don't you? Well it
is not just getting.presents. It is also .
remembering ,When Christ came to ,the
world. So at Christmas time you can also
sing songs about Jesus and talk about him,
instead of just opening presents one/after
another. It doesn't mean that you can't
open presents. It just means that you can
also sing songs and talk about Jesus.
So remember, when you- have Christmas
• you should not only open present's. You can
also sin on d talk Jesus.Isur
The Christmas That I Dream Of
, •
If I was allowed to sort out the way I want
Christmas I would do it right. First I would
phone up my relatives. Then I would check
the hill to see if it was good. 1 would get the,
sleds ready. •
Then, when everybody is here, I would
tell them the rules of sled races.
When that was done we would have a
• snowball fight, and then we would eat. We
would have lots of food for the family and
when they are done eating I would ask if
Joey could stay over, Then they would
leave.

The Best Christmas I Have Ever Had
It was 230 a.m. of the 25th of December
and we were waiting for my cousins. The
first to come was my dad's brother with his
wife, children, and my dad's parents from
Hamilton and Burlington. Then came my
dad's sister from Chicago with her
husband and two children.
The first thing we did was take their
coats and seat them in tilt! 11-ving room.
Then the 111s0^-4:-ge came in arid was put in
me rooms they were to sleep in.
Then we talked,, opened gifts, and ate.
The next day we played and went, sledding

The Best Christmas Present
It was Christmas day and we were eating,
a great Christmas dinner. After dinner we
went to .the Christmas tree to open our
presents., Well, Bob, my brother, opened a
.big box from dad. It was a real nice radio.
Then we opened the presents from Susan,
Nick and 1. -He got his 'present from mom at
the end of the night. It was huge. He
started ripping the paper off and then he
came to a box.. He opened the box and
came tciA smaller box. He opened the box
and carne to a smaller box. After opening a
lot of boxes he came to the box with the
present in it. Now Bob didn't even want to
guess what was in it. He opened it and it
was a Bible.
Bob never thought
n12,1th 'ti at the time,
iiow he uses it every day. Last
Christmas he said to mom that the Bible
given to him a couple of Christmas's ago,
was the best Christmas present ever.
