The Ontario Family Farm Interest Rate Reduction program (OFFIRR) provides farmers with some relief from high interest rates. Under the program, grants. are available which can effectively reduce interest rrates.to 8% for. up to $200,000 of long-term debt. David Peterson /- Congregation honors,'p as tor The Pentecostal congregation had their Christmas supper on Saturday evening Dec. 14. They also honored their pastor on the occasion of his •birthday, which is Dec. 17. Pastor and Mrs. Christensen went to Milton on Monday for a family birthday gathering: and dinner. Last Sunday morning, all chinch services were cancelled owing to the • inclement weather. The Anglican Christmas service was held over until' 2 p.m.• when families and friends enjoyed the 'worship service and carol sing. The Sunday School and youth group took part. and a Christmas supper followed. The Presbyterian con- gregation, and Sunday School had their Christmas entertainment in the evening on Dec..15.
