Midgets finish
half of schedule
The Lucknow Midget record stands at
8-3-1 following Monday's home ' stand
when they finished the easy half of their
schedule against Walkerton 'B'.
The game ended rather kindly for a
Lucknow team that got off to •a terrible
start. The Walkerton team out -skated and
out-liustled the Lucknow -skaters every
shift in the first period and were rewarded
with a 4 - 0 lead. In second period action,
the home town boys started to skate a bit,'
tightened the defense a little and outscored
the Walkerton team 4 - 1 in that period.
The third belonged to Lucknow as they
out -skated a tiring Walkerton team and
out -scored them 6 - 1. At the bell, the
scoreboard read Lucknowilif, 'Walkerton 6.
The scoring leader was Sam Murray with
two goals and two assists. Jamie Hum'-
, phrey had one goal and two axsists. Fred
Flanagan, Chris Irwin, Brad Priestap, John
'Vandervelde and Jeff Waldenhad two
•points each while Steve. De Jong, Andy
