Over -confident Midgets• .
salvage tie with Harriston
The Lucknow Midgets travelled in the
rain to Harriston last Tuesday Night. Ev-
erything was going according to plan as the
team managed z 4 - 2 firstperiod lead
which 'stretched to a 6 - 2 lead by the
gam'e's mid -point and the game looked like
a ropy of the first Harriston encounter.
But the rain moved inside as an
over -confident Lucknow squad stopped
skating and dropped all r>•cognlzable forms
.)f defense. Harriston poured 5 straight
nto the Lucknow net to take a 7 - 6 lead
aith just three minutes left in the game.
Just when it appeared that the rain would
hide the tears in their eyes, they managed
to regain.some composure and salvaged a 7
- 7 tie with two minutes to go.
The scoreboard read: Jeff Gibson, 1
assist; Andy Grazier, 1 goal; Scott Hackett,.
2 goals, 1 assist; Steve Huffman, 1 assist;
Jamie Humphrey, 1 assist'; Steve Murray,
1 goal, 2 assists; Brad Priestap, 2 goals;
John. Vandervelde, 1 goal and Jeff Walden,
2 assists.

calibre, the fact remains that the team has
;cored 35 goals while allowing 12 against in
'our games. Their next home game is Nov.
?5 at 8,30 'against Kincardine. B. Take in
he action..
