Each member must use special talent for church
Mrs. Fraser MacKinnon was hostess for
the November meeting of South Kinloss
WMS on Nov. S. It was preceded by a
• delicious dessert luncheon . served by the
hostess and directors: Mrs. Allan Mac-
Dougall and Mrs. Frank MacKenzie.
• President Mrs. John Mowbray welcom-
ed all and read the poem, In Remembrance
of Me. Taking part in the Prayer Circle
were Mrs. Lloyd MacDougall, Mrs. Harold
• Campbell and, Mrs. Frank MacKenzie. •
The Bible study on I Cor. 12: 12-30 was
ably presented by Mrs. Allan MacDougall.
As the body has many parts all different
but each essential, so it is with our church
body. Each member must use his or her
special talent and all work together in
harmony.
• Mrs. Frank MacKenzie had a special
timely topic on Remembrance Day. She
• with Nov. 11 when it was first sold in 1922
to aid veterans. A moment's silence was
aid veterans. A moment's silence was
observed and a Remembrance Day prayer
offered.
The offering was received and dedicated
by Mrs. John Needham. The rollcall was
answered by twenty members and one
• visitors with a Bible verse with remember
as the theme.

thanked all members for their offerings
•during the year and stated that our alloca-
tion Mid been reached.

Mrs. Evan Keith reported for the Ladies'
Aid.
Mrs. Harold Howald discussed plans to
serve dinner to the BruceMaitland .Pres-
bytery to be held in South Kinloss Church
Nov. 12.
• Several. ladies attended the 100th
anniversary of Ripley WMS and also the
CGIT Alumni Tea in Lucknow. ,
The annual meeting followed'. Secretary
Mrs. Ira Dickie read the minutes of the
1984 annual meeting. Each secretary read
prepared reports on the year's work. The
president expressed thanks for members
co-operation.
Mrs. Lloyd MacDougall and Mrs. Olive
Needham as the nominating committee
presented the new slate of officers for
1986. Past president is Mrs. John Mow-
bray while the new president is Mrs. Allan
MacDougall and vice-presidents are Mrs.
Leonard Clarke, Mrs. Vera Schmidt, Mrs.
Don Bell, The secretary • and press
secretary is Mrs, Ira Dickie, assistant
secretary is Mrs. Harry Lavis and 'Mrs.
Fraser MacKinnon is 1986's treasurer.
Other officers are Supply, Mrs. Leonard
Clarke; Glad Tidings, Mrs. Herb Buckton;
Daily Devotions, Mrs. Ted Collyer; Histor-
ian, Mrs. Harry Lavis; assistant Historian,
Mrs.. Frank MacKenzie; Friendship and
Service, Mrs. Lloyd MacDougall and Mrs.
Clark Needham; Associate Members, Mrs.
Jas. Burt, Mrs. Gib Hamilton and Mrs.
Allister Hughes; Literature, Mrs. Bruce
Hamilton; Ladies' Aid, Mrs. Evan Keith;
Bible Society, Mrs. Jas. Burt; and pianists
are Mrs. John Forster, Mrs. John Need-
ham and Mrs. Alvin Schmidt.
The new officers for 1986 were installed
by Mrs. Allison Ramsay.

• Dougall, took the chair. The meeting date
was discussed and more preferred the first
Wednesday of the month. It was •also
decided to continue having the annual
meeting in November.
An executive meeting to plan the pro-
'gragis for 1986 will be held at the home of
Mrs. Allan MacDougall Nov. 20. at 1.30
P. m.' .
Mrs. • Frank MacKenzie thanked the
hostess and all taking part in the meeting
to which the hostess replied.
