Mrs. Wardrop gave members a memory test game. Cathy. and Karen had perfect. The meeting closed with the Creed. The seventh meeting of Whitechurch Silly Sewers was held Nov. 9 at 9-a.m. at Mrs. Elliott's home. The meeting opened. with' six members repeating the pledge and answering the rollcall. The minutes were - read by Cathy Dow. There is to be a rehearsal for the fashion show at the achievement program: Mrs. Elliott demon- strated how to do different kinds of side seams and neck and armhole edges. Mrs. Wardrop talked 'about the question of making or buying clothes. The book covers were made. The leaders checked the books' and covers. Books and garment are to be handed in on Not+. 16. ' On Nov. 11 Kim Laidlaw, Alison Ward- rop, Tim Falconer and Mark Schnelier were at the Remembrance Day service to play in the "school band which was in the parade to the cenotaph in Lucknow. • Mr. and Mrs: Alan Falconer spent Monday in Owen Sound. .. " Mr. and Mrs. Steve Irwin, Cody and Chanse of Lucknow visited Sunday evening with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Milligan. Mrs. Dave Oberholtzer of Waterloo and, Mrs. Harry Gutoskieofitchener visited with their mother, Mrs; Norma Rintoul en Wednesday.
