The second meeting of the Whitechurch Silly Sewers was held on October 5 at 9 a.m. at the home of Mrs. Wardrop. The / meeting opened with the pledge and six members answered the roll call. A vote on the name, Craft Knits, Silly Sewers or Sewing +Six was held.', It was decided that Silly Sewers would be the club name.
