Cars will 'de- part from the Blyth Memorial Hall between' 9:00 a.m. and 12'inoon. It is expected the rally -will take about 3 hours - unless you get hopelessly lost, in which case you will have to open your "emergency. kit (prow- ided to all' registrants at the outset). There isa lune spot with washrooms en mute - . but we can't say exactly where or it will give the game. away! - Members of the pubic are invited to, join in the fun. Get into the spirit by inventing a huniourous name for your'team or come in costume (so long at it .doesn'thamper your driving ability). It is recommended - that each team consist ofat least two people; one to drive, the other to navigate and 'read the instructions. This is an ideal event for the .whole family - children can get in on the act by watching out for cluesand landmarks. Please note, this is NOT a raee,' The. object of the rally is to correctly' answer questions and identify check -points along . the route, while enjoying the challenge and taking in the scenery. The car rally is a fund-raising event with- al; mantes going towards the capital projects fund of the Blyth Festival. "We have dealt directly with the artists themselves for this exhibition; it is a demonstration of their support for small galleries- like ours. These :paintings are usually only seen in major •galleries across Canada and the world • - in fact, one • painting which we, had hoped would be • in our exhibition is currently on its way to Munich.
