Toronto on Wednesday, July. 17, A large crowd attended the Pork Barbe- que and, Baked Beans at the home of Grant Chisholm on Sunday, July 21, to raise money for' the new addition to the St. Mary's Parish. Everyone enjoyed the meal, entertainment and swimming. The Ashfield Presbyterian W .M.S. and Sunday School held a successful tea and bazaar on Saturday, July 20. Deer seasons for 1985 announced The 1985 deer seasons ° for W Ingham District were recently announced. • The archery season runs from October 21 to November 3 and from November 8 to. December: 8, The four day shotgun and muzzle loader season runs from November 4 to November 7. This is a controlled deer hunt in which all •participatns must have their deer licence' validated by a special tag. Fanners and landowners of 50 acres or more are eligible to receive a tag. Other Ontario residents must enter their names in a lottery tykedraw for a limited number of validation tags. Applications for this hunt will be available from the Wingham District Office after August 1, 1985. The application deadline for the draw is August 30, 1985. Farmers and landowners should ;' apply before October 25, 1985.
