Dale and Wendy, Irvin, Garrett and
Casey of Waterloo spent Sunday with his
parents, • Russell and Lillian Irvin. They
also called on his . grandmother, Clara
Raynard .of bicknow.
Mites suffer
first defeat
The Lucknow Mites fastball team suf=
-ered their fust defeat of the season to
Tiverton with a 3142 loss. Walks and
errors were .the big problems as Lucknow
was only out hit 8 - 6: Clint Murray, Adrian
Helm, Jim Miller, Darryl Gibson and Keith
Todd had hits for Lucknow.
The team played one of their best games
of the year with a 28 - 6 win over Cargill on
June 27. Keith Todd and Clint Murray
pitched a great game. Catchers Steve
Porter and Chad Stanley made some good
throws to pick off runners during the
contest. Clint Murray, Chad Stanley and
Mike McEwan were:Iucknow's top hitters.
Darryl Gibson and Clint Murray each
had home runs in a 26 - 15 win over
Walkerton on ,June 24. Clint, Darryl and
Shawn Bellmore also had three hits apiece.
