Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiffin. and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson. We are sorry to report that John Gaunt is a patient in Wingham Hospital. His many friends . in the community wish him 'a speedy recovery. George Gaunt of the Woodstock area spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. John Gaunt and with his father, John Gaunt, at Wingham hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Clayt¢n Scholtz of Goderich, who had been visiting friends in Sudbury, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lome laurnin on their way home Sunday... • This was a real busy weekend for this - area. On Saturdaythere was the tractor pull at Lucknow and on Sunday from 1: o'clock to 5, and on Saturdayevening, there was a stag party for David Ross. Also the McInnes -Falconer reunion was held in Wingham on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Verbeek of Clinton visited with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson on their way home from the tractor pull on Saturday. They got Victor into the car and .took him places he wanted to go. This community received a shock when they learned Albert Coulteshad passed away while sitting in his car in Wingham. He was waiting for the return of - passengers on the bus from the Murray ` Gaunt tour.. • • Albert will surely be missed from this village where he lived from when he was' married until he moved to an apartinent in Winghatn. He was'busy with cement work and construction. He was a friend of all and wasever ready to assist anyone who needed help. The community . extends sympathy . to ' his family, Mr, and Mrs. Jack Coultes and family of Wingham, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Craig and family of Listowel, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Schwichtenberg and family of Port Elgin and to his sister, Mrs. John Gaunt of the village and other relatives.. Karen Beecroft of Kitchener spent the weekend with her parents Mr, and Mrs. E. W . Beecroft. , Visitors on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs.. E. W . Beecroft were Ken Sinnamon of W ingham and Ronald. Beecroft, Shannon and Heather of Wingham. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Nicholson, Erin, Ryan and Craig of Egmondville visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John de Boer. Visitors on the weekend with Cassie Mowbray were Brian Falconer and friends. and Mr. and Mrs. Relison Falconer, all of Sarnia. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Purdon were Mrs'. Donald Gaunt, Jennifer and Graeme of Chatham and Barbara Ann Carey of Kitchener. Mr. and Mrs... Carl McClenaghan have just returned from a three. week trip to Newfoundland with Mr. and Mrs. Lome Howe of Teeswater. On Saturday, Eileen Parker of Exeter and grandchildren Dana, Evan and Gra- ham of Hamilton and Ben and Bill Parker. Of Exeter visited with Mr. and Mrs. Carl McClenaghan. Mrs. Don Vincent, Patrick, Angela and Aaron of Biverview, New Brunswick' are coming to visit for a few weeks with Mr. and Mrs. George Webster. Visitors last week with Miss Mildred McClenaghan were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jeffrey of Kitchener and his mother, Mrs. Leonard Jeffrey of Goderch. • Bushell reunion held Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fee; who ;have been holidaying at a cottage at Silver Lake <;«>; KINLOUG visited with Marretta Hodgins on their way home to Clinton. Bob Hodgins of Kinloss spent Sunday with Darryl Hodgins. , Descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. ' John Bushell (formerly of concession 14) gathered at the'Kinloss Community Centre on Sunday for their family reunion. Around• 50 enjoyed a delicious`sinorgasbord dinner after. which games and sports were held arid a nice time of visiting, ending with a picnic supper. The youngest child was • Adam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bushell of Wroxeter. Mr. and Mrs: Perry Bushell and Judy and family'eame from their Cottage at Sauble Beach to be present. Bob McEwan and his- friend, Kim Wahl and Chris of Edmonton also attended,, as well as Mr.' and Mrs. Don McEwan (Mable), Mr. and Mrs. Herman • Fisher (Aisla); and their families, Mr. and Mrs.' Morley Bushell arid family members, Mr. and Mrs. Don Bushell and members of their family. All enjoyed a social evening at the Kinsmen Pavilion, Kincardine, for Andrew. and Cathy Gillespie, prior to wedding in August. Tara Thacker, South One, is enjoying a holiday in London.. Lucas had a holiday in Kincardine with his grandparents. Currie attended the funeral of their uncle, James McIntosh of Seaforth. On Sunday Mrs. John. A. Currie held a relative shower for her niece, Miss Carolyn Strong of Gorrie. Guests were present -from London, Toronto, Kitchener and Gorrie. Weekend guests with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A.
