and Brenda of St. Catharines spent the
weekend with Mr. and Mrs, Victor Erner-
son. Brenda is to be congratulated on winn-
ing an award at' Westdale school in St.
Catharines fpr overall improvement in
Grade 7.
Mr. and Mrs: Ray Berg 'of 'Tavistock
were Sunday callers on Mr. and Mrs. Vic-
tor Emerson.
On Wednesday evening, graduation ex-
ercises were held at Lucknow school for
the. grade 8 students. Congratulations to
the grade 8 pupils from Whitechurch and
to, Tim Falconer of grade 5 who received
an award for the most talent in music and
art in grade 5. He won $50 and a pen desk
set.
Tony Falconer is. employed at the farm.

Quite a number from Whitechurch at-
tended the wedding anniversary .of, Mr.
and Mrs. Gordon Wall head' at the
Wingham Legion Saturday evening. Con-
