It was decided that unless there are some improvement made there will be .no daf- fodils next year. This is the second year that the daffodil sales have been a disappoint- ment. However, with the results of the April can- vass, we were very happy. It shows an amount of $850 up from last year. Thanks I goes out to this community. There is a need for more volunteers to come out to our meetings as three of our members have moved away. We have about three meetings a year and no one person has any amount of work to do. When we have our fall meeting we hope there will be some new faces to join us. Mrs. Henderson served her delicious cookies and tea to end the evening. 1 CANADA DAY DEADLINES 4==_=4 ••01 p-Arfcr I Due to the July 1st Canada Day holiday falling on Monday, the Lucknow Sentinel deadlines for next week only willbe as follows.
