OBITUARY
•Russell L Moore
Russell. I. Moore of Cambridge and
formerly of Kinloss ' Township died Friday,
March 8, 1985 at Cambridge Memorial
Hospital. He was in his 73rd'. year.
Mr. Moore was born in Kinloss Town-
ship and was a resident of Cambridge for
47 years. ,He was retired from the Grand'
River Railway. .

Hee is survived by his wife, .Elsie
Hockley, and his children, Dennis of
Calgary, Mrs. Linda Price of Cambridge,
Mrs. Sharon Stubeing of Kitchener, Mrs.

Stretch and Sew
The seventh meeting of the Kingsbridge
Stretch and Sew was held at the home of
Janet Card on April 8.. All members
answered the roll call. Each girl showed an
article similar to the one she had made and
told whether she thought it was a good
buy.
The leaders showed the members how to
create the Flashdance look and how to sew
an industrial seam. The club also discussed
whether it was best to Make or sew your
own clothes. Work was done on the exhibit
for Achievement Day and members also
practised for the fashion show.

The tables were decorated with daffodils
purchased from the Cancer Society. At the
close of the evening, names were pulled
from a hat and the daffodils went to the
following: Mrs. Lee Rintoul, Peter Chand-
ler, Bruce Baynard, Allan Cranston, Mrs.
Alex Purves, Miss Beatrice McQuillin and
Mrs. Don Huffman.

Cambridge. He is also survived by two
brothers, Stanley . of W oodstock , ' and
Charles' Of' Cobalt, two sisters, Mrs. Ruth
•VanDewater of ° Woodstock and Mrs.
i/ Mildred Dickson of Belmore, 10 grand-
children and one great, grandchild.
Loving remembered'. by his 'mother-in-
law, Mrs. Gertrude Hockley.
Mr. Moore was predeceased by his
parents; Mr.: and Mrs. Arthur Moore, one
brother and one sister.
Friends were received by the family at
the Barthel -Stager Funeral 'Home in Cam-
bridge. The funeral service was held
March- 11, 1985 in St. • John's Anglican
Church, Cambridge: Interment in Park-
