Justin's goals were Matt Drennan, Chris
Stevenson and Chris Stevenson once more.
Vince Stiddend scored the third goal after
getting his own rebound while on his tummy.
Donnie Cuillerier assisted on the goal.
In the third and final game Friday on home
ice, Lucknow again showed their determina-
tion to win, the championship and came up
with a 6 - 2 win.

flurry in front of the net with Rob Crich
assisting. Defenseman Daniel Jones scored

Fbnman, and Jim Jurjens • were suooessful
goal scorers against a very tough William-

Neabel and Peter Neufeld.
Lucknow came dose to upsetting a strong
and confident Belmont team in the semi-final
championship game as they led 5 - 3 at the
mid point of the third period, but five
unanswered goals by Belmont resulted in
Ludmow's elimination from the Young
Canada tournament.
The first goal of the game was scored on
Luemow's goal tender Paul Helm who could
not see through the confusion in . front of his
net. Belmont scored again when Shannon
Roes" put in his own rebound from the slot
after Helm made the first save.
• Ludmow battled back to narrow Belmont's
lead to one as Brad Murray scored a power-
play goal unassisted at the 8.54 mark: Rod
Crich tied the game for ludmow at the half
way mark of the second frame and the score
stayed close as' the game progressed.
The third Lucknow goal was credited 'to
Murray as he was the last Lucknow player to
touch the puck before a Belmont player, in an
attempt to clear the puck, flipped, in into his
own net.
Murray scored again to put Lucknow into
the lead for the first time in the game with a
fast. break, shooting from the' top of the
crease. Murray's snap shot from the left side
increased Ludmow's lead to two, only to be
shattered by a Behmnt surge of five goals as
Lucknow failed to clear the puck from their
own. end.
Belmont was successful in using body
contact throughout the game which for the
most part went unnoticed by the referees,
however, a strong well organized team,' they
deserved to proceed to the championship win.
