The March meeting of the Whitechurch
U. C. W . was held at Muriel Tlhompson's home
in Wingham. .
Gertrude Dumin opened the meeting with
a meditation on God's Help. Alice Moore read
the scripture and gave an article 'on Capital
Punishment.
Mary Chapman read the February minutes
and Called the roll, answered by eight
members, giving a Bible verse with the word,
give. Alice Moore led in prayer.

The World Day of Prayer service was held
on Friday at 'the United. Church with Rod
Lamb as guest speaker.
Mildred . McClenaghan introduced Mr.
Lamb and he was thanked and presented with
a gift by Mis. Don Boss.
Mrs. Lome Dumin presided forthe United
Church program and Mrs. Don Ross for the
part chaired by the Presbyterians. Mrs. Rod
Lamb sang a solo.

The W.M.S. held its February meeting
February 27 at the home of Norma Rintoul
with leaders, Mis. Wesley Tiffin and Norma
Falconer.
Norma Falconer gave the meditation. and
the reading, Winter Blahs. Jean Tiffin gave a
reading, Shining lining.
Mrs. Falconer conducted a contest. The
topic, A Lining of Silver, -given by Jean
Tiffin.
The collection wags received and dedicated
by Mrs. Bill Plirdon, who also gave the
courtesy rends.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim de Boer and family
visited on Sunday with her parents, Mr! and
Mrs. John Jamieson of Palmerston.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh MacMillan of Sarnia
and Isabel Tiffin of'L admow -were Weekend'
visitors with Mr. and Mis. Wesley Tiffin and
Cassie Mowbray. •
