Dorchester controlled early going and were rewarded with two goals in the first seven minutes.` Lucknow got ,on the board with a single tally with about three' minutes -left in the period. / In second period action Dorchester scored two, just 10 seconds apart, but seemed to tire as Luck now can on with four straight, to take a 5 to 4 lead into . the break The remainder of the game featured goal • scoring at a fascinating pace as 21 more were counted before the final bell. In the third tudmow seemed in control. with a two goal lead, but, Dorchester stormed --the fort with / three goals in 31 seconds about the 12 minute mark. Lucknow tied the score briefly at eight minutes but Dorchester again surged ahead with three fast goals around the seven minute mark. In Dorchester on Sunday night, the Lrdmiow team seemed in control from start to finish as the Dorchester squad seemed to be a / SPORTS tired hockey team. Although Inc know kept the play in the Dorrhgster end for most of the first period, good goal tending kept them off the sheet until the two minute mark. Early in the second, Inclmow scored again but couldn't hold Dorchester as they traded goals twice to end the period with a 4 to 2 Lucknow lead. In the third tndcnow continued to dominate as they again showed their scoring power and added a dash of defence to skate to an 8 to 3 win. The score sheets for these two games proves that the scoring punch of Gilchrist, Irwin and Priestap is a coaches dream as they collected 43 scoring points. Others piddng up points were John Van- derveld 2 goals, 3 assists; Jeff' Gibson and Darren McKim with 1 goal, "3 assists' each; Scott Hackett, 2 goals and 1 assist; and Steve Murray and Andy Grazier with 2 assists each. Short Shots All three games have been clean hockey with few penalties. Center man Priestap has been coming on strong as he battles head 'to head With Dorchester's top scorer. The line of Hackett, McKim and Vandervelde improve each time Otrt. Lncknow's defensive squad re-established some credibility in Sunday's ganne as they held the opposition to three goals of the shovel variety.
