The address was composed and read by Dorothy Airdrie. The gifts were presented by Amanda Kenn­ edy, Jennifer Jackson and Cindy Westerhout. The bows were pinn­ ed on an apron by Marilyn Sjaarda. Guest minister at Londesboro United Congratulations to Sheila Byls- ma of RR 1, Blyth for receiving 77 per cent on her grade 5 piano exam and to Anita Gross of RR 1, Auburn for receiving 91 per cent on her Grade 2 theory exam. Both are pupils of Marsha Szusz of Londes­ boro. Leonard Vodden of Paris visited Tuesday night with her sister Dora Shobbrook and attended the funer­ al on Wednesday of their cousin Bert Garrett, Clinton. Muriel Millson of Woodstock spent the weekend with her mother Dora Shobbrook. Shane Taylor of Londesboro has been entertaining his cousin Ste­ ven Boyd of Oshawa the past week. The two young teenagers have been learning to golf at the Seaforth Golf Course this summer. Greeting on Sunday at the Londesboro United Church was Bob Trick. The contest “Age’’ was won by Darlene and Dora Shobbrook’s “guessing the number in jar” was won by Sharon Shobbrook. Card Bingo was won by Diana Shob­ brook, Bessie McBride, Marilyn Sjaarda and Patricia Millson. Gifts were presented to the bride. She received many beautiful and useful gifts.
