The lovely clear voices sang beautifully and were much appreciated. The banquet was provided by volunteers who serve for Meals on Wheels, whoonce more showed good community spirit in Brussels providing an interesting diversion for the senior citizens of Brussels. Many volunteers have efficiently helped on a regular basis as kitchen helpers, drivers, callers, baking pies and tea biscuits, etc. These people have given much of their time, many on a regular basis from 9 a.m. to 12:15 every Tuesday morning from Sept. 1 to May 26. Ethel Brewer, Helen Elliott and Ella Graber worked in the kitchen regularly and Mary Lowe and Joan Jacobs filled in for the regular group when they were not avail able. These committed people have spent many long hours making Meals on Wheels a success. The regular drivers were Edith Baker assisted by Ida Evans, Ross Patterson and the late Harvey Dennis.
