ceremony that united Wayne
James Carter and Catheleen Ann
Collison on May Oth at 7 p.m.
The bride is .the daughter of Ken
and May Collison of Teeswater.
The groom is the son of John and
Donna Carter, R. R. 5 Lucknow.
Reverend Arnold Proud conduct-
ed the ceremony. The organist,
Mrs. ' Syd Smith, assisted Miss
Jane White as she sang "The
Wedding Song, Annie's Song,
Morning Has Broken and0 Perfect
Love.
The bride, given in marriage by
tier father, wore a dress of white
polyester, accented with • rose
flowered bridal lace. The gown had
an empire waist line falling to a
chapel train. A Juliet cap
headpiece with pearls. held the
bride's elbow-length veil. She
carried a bouquet of red roses.
Matron of honour, Miss Diane
Lamont, wore a floor-length dress
mint green polyester and a
oppy brimmed hat to match the
ress. She carried a bouquet of
ellow roses trimmed with lace.
Bridesmaids were Linda„ Carter,
oyce-Anne Hewitt, Elaine Lorentz
and Laura Collison, sister of the
ride. They were dressed the same
s the matron of honour and also
arried yellow roses with lace trim.
Flower girl was Jacklyn Lorentz,
cousin of the bride. She wore a
floor-length gown of white polyest-
er, identical to the bride's. She also
wore a white floppy brimmed hat
and carried a bouquet of red roses
trimmed with lace.
Ringbearer was Kevin Hewitt,
cousin of the groom. He was
dressed the same as the groom and
his attendants.
Groomsman was Lin Hewitt,
cousin of the groom. Ushers were
Donnie Carter and David Carter,
both brothers of the groom, Larry
Hayes, and Bill Lorentz. The groom
and his attendants wore black
tuxedos with darker black velvet
trim.
Following the wedding a recep-
tion was held in Walkerton
Community Centre. The mother of
the bride greeted the guests
wearing a long gown of powder
blue polyester knit. She wore a
white rose corsage.
The groom's mother wore a pink
polyester knit gown and a white
rose corsage.
For travelling to Niagara Falls,
Ontario the bride changed to a
royal blue knee-length dress with a
red rose corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Carter will
reside at 159 Maple Street,
Goderich, where the 'groom is
employed at Dominion Road Mach-
inery Co. Limited.
Kinloss Township
Council Minutes
Kinloss Council met in regular
Session on June 6, the Reeve and
all Council present. After the
meeting was opened and the
minutes adopted, the following
business was dealt with.
Pollard Bros. Ltd. tender for
liquid calcium was accepted. H. M.
Gib:. -)nwas appointed to do the
engineering work on the Hartemink
drain. Council allocated $7500 to
the Kinloss slow-pitch team for the
purchase of balls and bats and Bob
Gilchrist was named to look after
same.
