When the Canadian Dairy Com-
mission announced. its dairy policy
last April some sweeping changes
were made to . try to pull into line
the shaky state of the industrial
milk industry.
One major problem was the $152

Export Fund. The government
proposed'to write it off - but at the
same time indicated it would in
future impose a 25 cent per cwt.
levy on fluid milk to assist in
offsetting the cost of export sales.
