Mr. and Mrs. Percy McClenag-
han and family of Clinton spent the
weekend with her brother. Mr. and
Mrs. Michael Courtney.
Plans are being made for a social
evening to be held at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Livingston on
Friday, July 1st, for Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Riegling and family who will
afternoon, June 12th at 3 o'clock in
the High School gymnasium.
The student council representa-
tives for St. Joseph's School,
Kingsbridge have been selected.
They are Debbie Drennan, Jackie
Dalton, Colleen Foran, Dana Do-
herty, and Tony VanDyke. Presid-
ent for 1977-1978 will be Debbie
Drennan.
On Friday, June 17 the Grade 8's
are conducting a Graduation

Kincardine as well as from Kings-
bridge. The dance is semi-formal
and will be chaperoned by staff and
parents from the four. schools.
Senior House League softball
finalists are Montreal and Edrnon-
,ton. The final will be played this
week. Joanne Crawford and Jean
Vogt are meeting, in the semifinals
of the senior girls handball, in
order to -decide on whom is to meet
Donna VanOsch in the finals.
Marian Knoop has reached the
junior girls' final and 'Kevin Smith
has reached the junior boys' final.
Grades 7 and 8 are visiting
Toronto on Friday, June 24th in
order to visit the Parliament
Buildings. Metro Zoo and the
Science Centre. These places will
act to reinforce topics taught in
history, geography and science this
year.
The Huron County Health Nurse
visited the school this past week
and tested the Grades 6, .7 and 8
students for scoliosis.
John and Alex Sproal of Wing-
ham and Frank Austin of Dungan-
non visited on Sunday, June 12
with Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Austin.
Some area farmers are re-plant-
ing their fields of corn following the
severe froSt this past week.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Davidson,
Mrs. Barbara Davidson and son
Mark of Colne, Lancashire, Eng-
land are visiting at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Walter Clare and Mary
Luanne.
Congratulations to the high
school students of F. E. Madill
Secondary School, Wingham and
the Goderich District Collegiate
Institute who were exempt from
writing examinations and started
summer vacations on Thursday,
June 9th.
Several ladies from this area
attended the trousseau tea held in
honour of Miss Reina Reurink at
her home on Sunday ,afternoon,
June 12.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Bilodeau of
Baysville, Ontario arrived on
Friday, June 10 to spend 5 days
vacation with Mrs. Ormond Heffer-
nan and family.
Jim Card was admitted to the
Wingham and District General
Hospital on Saturday, June 11th.
We wish him a speedy recovery.

accotdance with the Weed Control Act, 1973 Sec. 4, 14, and 20, that
unless noxious weeds growing on their lands within the municipality
of Lucknow are destroyed by date of July 1, 1977 and throughout the
season, the municipality may enter upon the said lands and have the
weeds destroyed, charging the costs against the land in taxes, as set
out in the Act.
