Helen Weirsma has accepted a
position in the doctor's office at
Palmerston and starts work this
Monday.
Sandra Exel spent Sunday with
Joanne de Boer, who was celebrat-
ing her ninth birthday.
Mrs. Ethel Holmes of Wingham
visited on Wednesday afternoon
with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Young.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wightman visited
at the same home on Sunday
evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Ken Scott of
London spent two weeks holidays
motoring to Alberta and returned
last Saturday evening.
Mrs. Jackie Robertson and Mrs.
Win 'Osband of London visited
friends in this area on Sunday.

the Lucknow arena.
CEMETERY MEETING
The Langside Cemetery meeting
was held Monday evening, June 6
with ten members attending. Bill
Evans was chairman. Mrs. Emer-
son read the minutes of the last
meeting and Mrs. Fred Tiffin gave
the treasurer's, report. Members.
elected were president, Bill Evans;
secretary, Mrs. Emerson; treasur-
er, Mrs. Elizabeth Tiffin; caretak-
er, Fred Tiffin; and trustees
