The new business was known as the McLennan-McCreath Funeral Home. A Hammond electric organ was installed in the Lucknow Presbyter- ian Church. The memorial organ was heard for the first time at the church's 57th anniversary and was dedicated by Rev. C. H. MacDon- ald, Rev. W. A. Henderson of Hillsdale was guest minister and guests soloists were Mrs. W. A. Henderson and Cameron Geddes. Because it was mid-May didn't mean that , the snow was all gone. Torrance's sideroad, just east of the village was still impassable for motor cars with five feet of snow reported to be still filling the cut to the south of the railroad crossing. Behind the cottages along the lake front, piles of snow from 10 to 12 feet high was still quite common. The topic was Psalm 100 with question discussion. It was, decided to have a pancake supper at the Community Hall June 4. Grace was sung and lunch served to the 15 attenders. We are sorry to report that Mrs. Christopher, owing to a fall, was. admitted to Wingham Hospital on Sunday. The community wishes her a speedy recovery.
