MacDonald are on a trip to Fort
Nelson, B.C.
Mrs. Emile MacLennan and
Florence visited in Sarnia with
Mrs. Margaret Morton and family
fora few days.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Finlayson
spent the weekend in Sarnia with
Mr. and Mrs. Rod Finlayson and
twins.
Mr. and Mrs. Ewan MacLean
have returned home from a
month's holiday 'in Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver McCharles
were visitors in Petrolia and
Chatham for the weekend.

She wore a gown of blue velvet with
jacket and hood and trimmed with
maribou fur. She carried pink
roses, white mums and baby's

Bridesmaids were Sandra Kemp-
ton of Kincardine, Linda Russell of
Kincardine and Brenda Tonkonoh
of St. Catharines. Their gowns and
flowers were the same ' as the
matron of honour's.
Amy Rotteau of Amberley was
flower girl. She wore a blue velvet
dress, empire style, trimmed with
maribou fur.
Ring bearer was Mark Scott of R.
R. 6 doderich.
Gary McQuillin of St. Citharines
was groomsman. Ushers were
Boris Tonkonoh, Doug Scott and
Tom Kempton.
Pat Lowry and Anne Ferguson
were pianist and organist. Soloists
were Dianne Rotteau, Mary and
Helen Kempton.
A reception followed at the
Ripley Complex.
The bride's mother wore a silk
printed floor-length gown
corsage of white carnations.
The groom's mother wore a
peach floor-length jacket dress and
white carnation corsage.
For travelling the bride ,chose a
two-piece green tweed suit.
Following a two week wedding
trip to Florida they will reside in
Kincardine. The groom is a sailor
and the bride is employed with
Miller MacKenzie Ltd., Kincard-
ine.

Mrs. Cora Barr and Mrs.
Gertrude Walsh of Kinlough visit-
ed Mr. and Mrs. Chris Shelton on
Sunday.
Harold Errington attended a
Trapper's COnvention in North Bay
on the weekend.
Rev. H. G. Dobson spoke on the
topic "Let the hungry feed
themselves", on Sunday at Dun-
gannon United Church. He told of
the church's missionary tradition
and gave examples to illustrate that
it is better to give underdeveloped
and poverty-stricken people the
tools to, work for thethselves rather
than just giving handouts of food
or Clothing.
Prof. Karl Hochreither, School of
Church Music in Berlin, Westmin-
ster scholar in residence, will
conduct a workshop in church
music for organists in Mitchell
United Church on Wednesday,
March 16, 8 p.m.
For teenagers there is a Confer-
ence in Drama at Woodgreen
United Church in Toronto during
Winter Break. See the minister for

Mr. and Mrs. Allan McNee,
Edward and Paul of London visited
with Mr. and Mrs. Graham McNee
on Sunday.
Steve Caesar of Lindsay spent a
couple of days last week with his
parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack Caesar
and shared in birthday festivities
for his sister Jan.

The Pastoral Relations Commit-
tee is holding its second meeting at
the home of Mary Bere on
Wednesday evening at 8.15. Rev.
Stan MacDonald of Londesboro will
be present to represent Presbyter3i
and give advice. Several letters
have been sent but no answers
received as yet.

The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Bill Kempton of Amber-
ley. The grootil is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Harvey McQuillin' of St.
Catharines.
Rev. Robert Putman of Pine
River officiated at the double ring
ceremony.
The, bride was given in marriage
by her parents. She wore an
empire style gown of peati-de-soie,
with cathedral length veil and cap
of maribou fur. Her flowers were
