to $4 higher, and good steers and
heifers selling $1 to $2 higher.
Cows ano pigs traded easier. There
were 979 cattle and 498 pigs on
offer.

$90 with sales to $96.50. Good
steers were $82 to $86.

on weighing 1200 lbs., sold for
$96.50, with their total offering of
46 steers averaging 1295 lbs.,
selling for an overall price of

Howatt of RR 1, Londesborough,
weighing 1170 lbs., sold for $90.75,
with his total offering of 21 steers
averaging 1177 lbs. in weight, and
selling for an overall price of $87.44
Thirty-one steers consigned by
Lome Forster of RR 1, Lucknow,
averaging 1249 lbs., sold for an
average price of $85.67, with sales
to $91.25. Twenty steers consigned
by Jim Murray of Hickson, Ont.,
averaging 1274 lbs., sold for an
average price of $88.06, and he had
sales to $89.75.
Thirty-nine steers sold for an
average price of $1.25 per pound,
while 16 heifers brought an
average of $1.15 per pound, for an
overall average of $1.22 per pound.
