up the leads the tour produced.
Guest speaker at the dinner in
Blythwas Sheila Richards, past
president of the Blyth Festival who
gave some of the history of the
theatre and spoke of some of the
needs of Blyth including a country
inn, bake shop, drug store and light
industry. She pointed out the
Festival now spends $800,000 a
year in Blyth.
