On home ice, the '
Intermediates defeated
Drayton 12-10 on Fri.,
Nov. 21. These two arch
rivals' played their usual
rough style hockey and as
a result Drayton sat out
14 minor penalties and
Ripley 9.
The first period left
Drayton scoreless and
Ripley had collected' five
goals. Drayton is not to be
underestimated. They
opened the second period
with three quick markers
and the period ended 8-5
for Ripley.
The local boys went
ahead 11-5 on three
opening third period
goals but Drayton can
alwayS rally some
strength and put in the
next two markers. Ripley
managed one more goal
to put the score at 12-7. ,
Twolan took a pass from
Doug Hawrylyshyn to
make the final score
Lucknow 6 Ripley 5.
The Pee Wees then
doubled up the score on
Mildmay 4-2, on
unassisted goals • by
Stephen Keelan, Robbie
Brooks •and Alec Boyd.
Doug Hawrylyshyn took a
pass from Stephen
Keelan for the other goal
and then they slacked off
in the third period to let
1V1ildmay score twice .
The Bantam A team
lost a close one to
Mildmay 5-4. Todd
