The annual meeting of
District 8, Association of
Agricultural Societies, for
Huron-Perth was held in
Brussels last Thursday with
over one hundred persons in
attendance.
Bruce McCall from Brus-
sels was guest speaker and
Graeme Craig, Walton, prov-
ided entertainment.
The executive for the next
two years was introduced as:
District Director, Keith Mc-
Lagan, Mitchell; Secretary-
Treasurer, Donald Young,
Auburn; Harold Lobb, Clin-
ton, as the Retiring Director.
Dolores Shapton, Exeter is
the Director of the Ladies
Division who will be assisted
by Maxine Sereda, Exeter,
as her Secretary. _
The 1981 Annual Meeting
will be held in Mitchell
hosted by Mitchell Agricul-
tural Society,
The sixth and last meeting,
of the Holyrood WattS Up
club' was held at the !Rime of
Barbara Gingrich. Members
answered the roll call and
talked about the Achieve-
ment program. Topics from
the members' pamphlet were
all discussed. They decided
to have a work• meeting on
Thursday, October 30.
The last meeting of the
Trinity 4-H club was held on
October 22 at the home of
Dona Campbell. The• roll call
