As the summer draws to a
close we all wish that the fine

we ,at Pinecrest must say we
have had a good summer.
Our residents have had a -
chance to be out of doors and
enjoy the lovely days and
also to enjoy rides out into,
the countryside in the Nurs-
ing Home van. The residents
would like to express their
thanks to Mrs. Wilma Clark,
who was the Activity Director
at Pinecrest Manor until the
end of July, but who now
comes in on a voluntary basis
to drive the van for the
weekly outings into the coun-
try.
Some of our residents were
able to enjoy portions of the

celebrations. "Mr. Aubrey
Higgins was very pleased to
be able to attend the festiv-

Manor to give this fine
presentation.

MIN DRAFT WOODBURNINt
Smith & Caven Down
Draft Stoves are designed
and engineered to

This is accomplished by

the two down draft tubes
to mix:with the gases con-
tained in wood smoke. By
passing this mixture
throogh the flame, com-
plete combustion results.
The Smith & Coven Down
Draft is constructed from
top-quality 10, gauge mil
2 plate steel that has been
21 1 2 angle braced for extra
strength. The combustion
chamber- 14 lined on all
sides and bottom with
