second National Canadian
Square and Round Dance
Convention in Ottawa last 7 -
8-9.
While them they danced
on Parliament Hill and earn-
ed a special badge to com-
memorate it. The dance fol-

Guard ceremony which takes
place every morning during
the . summer in Canada's
capital.
The Convention provided
non-stop dancing for 2 to 5
p.m. and from 8 to 11 p.m.
for each of the three days on
eight huge floors at Lan-
sdowne Park. Other related
events included a Fashion
Show for square dancers,
seminars, workshops and an
hour-long pageant each ev-
ening.
