Voice for Life, Wingham, was held
November 9th at the home Of Mrs.
Gordon Wright. The minutes of
the previous meeting were read
and approved.
Our next dance' is being schedul-
ed for. ,the first part of February,

Brenda Johnstone, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Johnstone,
Lucknow, returned home on Satur-
day, after spending the past-twO
months in Victoria Hospital, Lon-
don. Brenda has her leg in a cast.
Danny Pritchard of R. R. 1
Lucknow was admitted to Victoria
Hospital on Sunday for eye
surgety. He is expected to be able
to return home within a few days.
Pharis Mathers .'of R. R. 1
Lucknow returned last week from a
three, week holiday with his
daughter Carolyn, Mrs. Wayne
Pepper, Mr. Pepper and family at
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Mrs. Lloyd Moffat of ,Lucknow is
home after spending two weeks in
Wingham Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Curran of
Ashfield Township moved Monday
of this week to Lucknow., where,
they had earlier purchased. the
double house on Stauffer Street,
property of Barry McDonagh. Jack
came home last week from
Goderich Hospital, where he had
been a patient for a month with a
diabetic condition.
Mr. and' Mrs. Cliff MacMillan
and Abigail of St. Catharines, Mrs.
John Wocks of Teeswater and Mr.,
and Mrs. Fred Wocks of'Schorr-
; berg were visitors' the past week
with Mr. and Mrs. J. L. MacMil-
lan, Lucknow.

Mts. Sally Campeau, who rec
ently ' attended the' third annual
dinner meeting of the Goderich
Right to Life Association made the
following, report of the event. The
" guest speaker was Dr. Reg.
Bannister, obstettician and gyne-
cologist from Cambridge. Qm. Dr.
Bannister, founder of Anglicans for
Life and a founding member of
Physicians for Life. spoke on
"Honesty and the Present Day
Physician".
He said that the Canadian
Medical Association is in favour of
making the question of abortion a
private matter between a woman
and her doctor. The Association is
careful to insist that it does not
want abortion, removed from the.
Criminal Code. This position,
when stripped of all its verbiage
amounts to, no less than abortion on
demand: The general public must
appreciate that if any sort of
legislation is envisaged to protect
the ,unborn it will have to be
