the past two Months, left for Boston
where she will visit friends. Vera is
from Biberach, West Germany,
and was on an Operation ,Beaver
Project in Kaniloops, B.C. Bonnie
Boyle was also' on the project in
Saskatchewan and the girls met at
their Qrientation in Toronto and
became friends. , Folks in this
community came to know Vera- as a
friend also. It is hoped from time to
time Vera will keep in touch.
Mr. and Mrs. Ken Pearson, who
have been in this area for the past
/year, have moved to Millarton.
Chris and Ken lived on, the Hank
Parker farm near Kinlough.
Mrs. Claude Dore of Bervie was
a dinner guest • on Sunday of Bob ,
and Judy Thompson and boys.
Visitors last weekend with Mr.
Dr. and Mrs. John Bell and
Kirtsy of Guelph visited recently
with Mr. and Mrs. Ken Laidlaw,

London where he is undergoing
treatment for an ulcerated eye.

visited with their son Don and Mrs,
MacKinnon, Donald's brother Bill,
and Mrs. MacKinnon and family
and also with their niece Mary-Joe
MacKinnon, a daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Angus MacKinnon of Aurora.
Harvey Mole of Lucknow return-
ed to his home last 'Monday after
being in Wingham Hospital for
three weeks. ' •
