John and Donna Carter returned'
home Sunday night after spending
four days at Calendar. The scenery
was beautiful with colour
beyond words. John took in some
fishing, landing a 30" pike, and a
lovely pickerel from the cold waters
of •Lake Nipiising.
Mrs. Marion Salo and family of
Waterloo visited last weekend in
Lucknow with her mother, Mrs.
Harvey Mole and with her father,
Harvey, Mole, a patient in Wing-
hain Hospital,
Mrs. Earl Morden of Rodney was
an overnight guest of Mt. and Mrs.
Harvey Houston of Lucknow, and
attended the Junior Women's
Institute Annual 'Meeting at the
Lucknow 'United Church on Satur-
day, October 16. Mrs. Morden is
secretary-treasurer of the Federat-
ed Women's institutes of Ontario.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom. Hackett;
Lticknow, returned, last week from
a month's holiday trip to the . West
Coast. They accompanied Mr. and
Mrs. Woodrow Davidson of Exeter.
At Surrey, British Columbia, they
visited with Mr. and Mrs. Hack-
ett's daughter Freda, Mrs. Clair I
Spicer and family and with Mr. and, j
Mrs. Davidson's son Ken and
Sandra Davidson, also of Surrey.
Sandra is a granddaughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Hackett.
Harvey Mole, Lucknow, was
admitted to Wingham and District
Hospital on October 3rd following a
heart attack.

of Sault Ste. Marie spent Thanks-
giving weekend with his parents
Mr. and Mrs. Jack McDonagh of
Lucknow. Their son Tony McDon-
agh is now visiting with his
grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Jack
