John took in some fishing, landing a 30" pike, and a lovely pickerel from the cold waters of •Lake Nipiising. Mrs. Marion Salo and family of Waterloo visited last weekend in Lucknow with her mother, Mrs. Harvey Mole and with her father, Harvey, Mole, a patient in Wing- hain Hospital, Mrs. Earl Morden of Rodney was an overnight guest of Mt. and Mrs. Harvey Houston of Lucknow, and attended the Junior Women's Institute Annual 'Meeting at the Lucknow 'United Church on Satur- day, October 16. Mrs. Morden is secretary-treasurer of the Federat- ed Women's institutes of Ontario. Mr. and Mrs. Tom. Hackett; Lticknow, returned, last week from a month's holiday trip to the . West Coast. They accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Davidson of Exeter.
