The Ripley and District Lions held their first dinner meeting at' the Ripley Legion Hail Wednesday night of last week. Lion president Bob Fair called the dinner meeting to order. Past summer activities were summarized by committee chairman. One such project was the Lions Youth Exchange program. Stanley 'Young of Canton, Texas, a first year university student, visited. List Gunby of R. R. 1, Dungan- non and Susan Irvin of R. 7 Lucknow spent• last week at the Provincial Junior Farmer Leader- ship Training Camp at Bark Lake in Haliburton County. They were 2 of 4 young 'people 'representing Huron County Junior Farmers at this camp, being , attended by one hundred delegates from across Ontario. Martha Graham of R. 5 Lucknow was one of four from Bruce County attending the camp.
