John Mills ' Aitchison' •,passed
away on Wednesday, September
1st at Huronview Nursing 'Home,
Clinton, He was 88.
Jack, as be was familarly known,
was born in Bentick Township on
June 2, 1888, a son of James,
Aitchison' and Margaret Mills, He.
farmed in. West Wawanosh Town-
ship • for a number of years.
Before going to Huronview,
Clinton wherf he was a resident for
7, years, Jack had made his home'
with Mr.• and Mrs`. Victor Emerson,
Whitechurch. He never married.
He 'is survived by one brother,
Cairns Aitchison and • one sister,
Gertrude Aitchison, both of W, Ing-
ham.
He •,was predeceased by three
brothers Archie, Roy, Jim and' one
sister Hanna. - •
The funeral' service was held at
MacKenzie Memorial Chapel,
Lucknow on . Friday, September
3rd. Mr. Bev Kay of Whitechurch
was minister.
Interment was in Greenhill
Cemetery. •
Pallbearers were Victor Emer-
son, Andrew Gaunt, Lorne Durnin,
Gordon McPherson, Lorne Forster
and . Elroy • Laidlaw.
