Thcimpson, Publisher Former Residents 50 Years Married The,50th wedding anniversary of George and Margret Anger of- Wingham was held on Saturday, August 28. They, were married. December '1, 1926, iti Detroit , Michigan. They moved to Canada in 1930 and settled in Essex County, where George farmed and - worked at the Ford Motor Company in Windsor. Then they, moved to the Lucknow area in 1947, and farmed • until 1966 when they retired to Witigham. - They have seven daughters, Katherine; of Michigan; Mable, 'of Michigan; Betty, of Teeswater; Mildred, of Chicago; Barbra of Portage La Prairie; Carol and Diana, both of Kitchener. Their:daughters in Canada held a " party for them, at Sutton Park Inn in Kincardine. . Their best man and maid .of honour, Mr. and Mrs. Francis F'oWell of Detroit, Michigan, were with them on this special day. Mr. and Mrs. Powell will be celebrating their 50th anniversat7 in Novem- ber.
