Both were awarded the week at
camp by' the Lucknow Concert
Band, of which they are members,

at their cottage on Snache Island2
Lake Simcoe, where they are
spending the summer.
Miss Noreen Russell of Halifax;
Noya. Scotia and Ray Elliott of
Halifax, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bryce
Elliott, Lucknow, spent last week7
end. in LucknoW and at. Point Clark
visiting with Ray's, family, friends
and relatives. On Saturday
afternoon Noreen and Ray attended
the wedding of Betty Jean Miller
and Ronald, Janke in Woodford

roidence of Ross Forster at the
east- end of town and are residing,
there.
Al Irwin, a former resident of.
Lucknow, was. a visitor in• the area
last • weekend with relatives and
friends. Al is With Imperial Oil and
is the manager of Esso HOrne
Comfort for the Vancouver. area,
He is married to the former Mary
Alton of Ashfield., Al is at business
meetings in TOronto this week and
took the opportunity to visit
Lucknow while in the east.
Mrs. Myrtle Helm of Lucknow is
home from University Hospital,
London, where she was .a patient
for two weeks following. a • hip
fracture 'suffered in a fall at her
home.
Mrs. Gail O'Reilly and, daughter
Judy haVe been visiting with Gail's
parents; Mr. and Mrs. J. L.
MacMillan, Lucknovv and returned
to Montreal this week.

Cooper over the 'weekend recently

Sault Ste'. MaTie spent a week with
their parents, Mr. and Mrs: Jim

weekend visitors at the same home
with their parents.
Mrs. William Toney and two
children, Leigh Anne and Rob of
pig' _Lake, Sakatchewan are
visitin•g foe two weeks with her
parents Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mac-
Kenzie at Amberley Beach. Jeff
and Amy Pollard of Petawawa have
also been holidaying at Amberley

Lucknow returned Saturday after a
six week holiday in, Holland. While
there they took a week',s cruise on
the Rhine River,in Germany. They
visited many places •of interest in
Holland including Canadian
Cemetery at Holterb here they
saw the grave of the hrother of
Gordon Montgomery of Lucknow.
The weather in. Holland has been
very hot and dry which is .unusual.'
The Week they were in Germany
the temperature reached 40 deg-
rees Celcius.
Mr. and Mrs. John F. Ross of
Detroit, Michigan visited for a few
days with , his brother Mr. and Mrs.
Bill Ross and other relatives.in the
area. , •
J. J. and Lynne Houston,
Toronto, visited in the area during
the past couple of "weeks, returning
to Toronto mid-week. TheY were at
a cottage on French Bay and with
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Houston in
LucknoW. •

Michigan, visited in Lucknow on
Monday afternoon With his, neph-
ew, Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Elliott and
also visited with Mr. Dick Elliott' at
Pinecrest Manbr.
Mrs. N. J.' MacKenzie of
Lucknow returned last Saturday
from a holiday at Copetown with
Mr. and 'Mrs. George MacGregor
and at Ottawa with Mr, and Mrs.
Rae Myers.
R. 'D. Ross, Lucknow, has
returned home faun_ Wingham__
Hospital, where he was a patient
for two weeks.
Mrs. J. L. MacMillan, Lucknow
-has returned home from St.
Joseph's Hospital, • London, where
she has been a patient this past
month.

draw.
Mrs. Bob Hamilton, who was
residing 'in an apartment above the
Mayfair Restaurant, is now living.
in the apartment building 1 block
