Rev. and Mrs. Murdock had charge of Chalrner's Presbyterian and Langside Churches in 1973 and '74. Debbie Hickey is this week visiting with Dawne Adams. Next week Davy& Adams plans to visit with Debbie Hickey at Clinton. Mr. and Mrs. Michael-Teagan of Westland, Michigan called Tues- day on Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiffin. Mrs. Teagan is 'the former Jackie Hayes. and had not visited here for over twelve years. Quite a number 'from here attended the CKNX Barn Dance on Saturday night at Ayton. WEDDING RECEPTION On Friday evening a wedding reception was held in Whitechurch Conimunity. Memorial Hall in honour of Mr. and Mrs. Donald England Jr:, newlyweds. The gathering enjoyed dancing , to record music played by Brian' Elnisley. At lunch time Mr. and Mrs. England were called to the platform. Mr. Elmsley addressed them and presented the newlyweds with a gift of money from the gathering and other gifts were also presented. Donald thanked the sponsors, the gathering for attend- ing and for their gift of money. Mr. and Mrs. England will reside in their house trailer at his parents' home. BIBLE ,CLUB Each afternoon during week of A , July,12th thru July 16 a 5-day Bible Club was held at the home of Ivy Stnith. The summer missionary was Peter Federal of Kitchener. He led the children in singing and also told them 'a Bible story and missionary story each day. The children proved very good singers" and enjoyed the stories that Peter told. A good number of children attended the club, they were Dawne Adams, Lana Craig, Tony Falconer, Greg Gibson, Debbie Hickey, Bobby Jimieson, Dale Jamieson, Jinet Laidlaw, Kimber- ley Laidlaw, Susanne Millet, Amy Miller, Jimmy Miller, Fay Miller, Cindy Moore,' Richard Moore, Vickie Scott, ,Christine Smith, Tommy Smith, Lisa Stone, Tammy Stone, Angie Wick and Lyle Willis.
