On Sunday, July 18, the boys in
Green. and White, • the Ripley
Intermediates were anxious to
avenge the 1 - 0 loss to Walkerton
last week and did so with a 5 - 4
victory before a. good turnout . of
fans. The game was tied 4 - 4 with
2 out in the bottom of the ninth ,
when Blair (Blast) Armstrong hit a
home run to the delight of the home

Dungannon Fall Fair prize lists
have been mailed out or are
available. The Fair is to be held on
alloiving only 6 hits. Blair
Armstrong scoreditipley:s only run
and made just a super Catch on a fly
ball in centre field.. Chepstow tied
the game in the 8th, scored in the
top of the tenth, then held on to
preserve the win. The Chepstow
players admitted they were out-,
played and have ' great respect for
our team.

Intermediate Team
Lucknow, Intermediate •softball
club got back on track again after a
small slump, defeating Port Elgin 6
- 3 on June 28, Wingham 6 - 5' on
July 7, Walkerton 7 - 1 on July 11,
and Harriston 5- 3 on July 14
before losing a barn burner to
Chepstow 7 - 5 on the 18th.
Local boys are sporting much
appreciated new blue and white ,
uniforms, courtesy • of Lucknow
Legion. The club also appreciates
the fine turnout of fans at .recent
games.

Waterloo Uniyersity was home
recently and 'had the cast removed
from his leg.
As the result of a car accident on
July 6th Miss Tracey Wall of
-Dungannon will bp a patient in
Alexandra and Marine General
Hospital, Goderich for 8 weeks.
Although many welcomed visitors
have arrived, those coming from a
distance on July 10th and 11th
included Mr. and. Mrs. Thomas
