OUR FAITHFUL MAIL DRIVERS
In the cold , and wintry weather,
When the frost is' on the rail,
Would you like to face that blizzard
With a half a 'ton of Mail?
In the biting, blustery winter
With snow up to your knees
You stand .and wonder, "Where's
the mail box?",
Whileyour ears and fingers freeze.
When the wind o&doors is
whistling
And the air is full of snow,
And.you get in to your green truck,
And the, blamed thing will not go.
You really don't mind the winter
drifts
'Nor the snow in your boots and,
• socks,
But: it really riles one's temper
When the plough takes off the mail,
box.,
Some folks try to help you some-
what
In the mail delivery -Wail,
They get themselves an old brobtn
And hang on it - a Mail pail.
Butno matter what the hardships
That Cliff and Mali have to endure,
You get your mail delivered daily .
And you cannot find a better pair.
