They managed to get one/ game in against the powerful Port Elgin Sunocos. Starting the game short-handed,' some help was quickly recruited from the bush league ranks to round out the roster. The boys played quite well and worked hard to keep the ,game close.- Rhody came up with the first goal of the game to go ahead from Jim Murray and Steven Hackett. Port Elgin went , ahead 3 to 1 ending the second period. • John Emb.erlin finished the scoring for the Lancers midway in the third - period. lancers pressed hard' the rest of the game but couldn't better the 4-2 losS. More fan support would sure be appreciated to keep the , team giving all they've got.
