Jesus himself' protnised that
when the Messiah came, He would
glorify Him (Christ). Baha'u'llah,„,„
did this on many occasions of which
this'-one example: "Jest's. was a'
Manifestation of God. Everything
of Him pertained to God. To know
Him was to know God...To. obey
Him was to obey God. He was the
source Of all divine virtues. He was
.the vision of all divine qualities •

God was transmitted to the world.

was reflected in Him". (Star' Of

Habakkok warned that in the
latter dayS (which Baha'is believe
to be the present age) men would,
despite all these signs, disbelieve
the testimony of their own eyes and
ears 'concerning this wondroui
truth. HiS prophecy was that men
would "...regard. and wonder .
marvellously: for. I will work a worko
in your days whiCh ye, will not
believe, though it be told you
(Hal). 5).
Baha 'Is believe that the teaching
of,,Baha'u'llah are this wondrous
Arndt, for His teachings do not
•destroy the prophecies of the Bible
'or . annul the universal truths
therein, but elucidate and fulfill
them at all times.
