He accelerated 'hard because, the station wagon was approaching. He -didn't make it. The driver .of the station wagon apparently. realized too late 'that the impatient driver was coming too fast to stop in time. You can see what happened. The impatient driver# was seriously injured. His com- panion received a fractured skull. The driver of the station wagon and his wife were killed. Their 5'-year-old son was badly injured.
