Only routine business was, discussed. There will be no meeting of the Woman's Association or the W.M.S. during August. , The W,M,S, entertained the Baby Band and :the Mission Band; fol- lowing the W„A. meeting,. Mrs. Alex McCrackin, president, con- ducting the opening- exercises. Mrs. Bert Garniss, president of the Baby Band, had charge of the program, Jill Thornton sang a solo and piano solos were played by Margaret Craig and Betty Hether- ington, Slsan 'Sellers read a mis- sionary story. Miss Margaret Curtis told the story of the boyhood of Jesus, il- lustrating it by use of a flannel - graph, Mrs. W. J. Some of the' older monu- ments have been placed together on a• permanent base. Members of the cemetery board, Mac Black,Charles Johnston and Mac Scott, also those who assisted in the work, are to be commended for the changes which make the tatecemetery a credit to the neighbor- hood and which all citizens appree- ,.
