The church had been made beautiful with flowers and symbols to em- phasize the theme for the day, "In God's 'Good Time", A welcome was extended with baskets of flowers in the church entrance and down the aisles. The council did not see how this could. be done and they said that the cost of erecting such tanks would be, much too high. for the town, They Would also be a great danger to young children, it was thought.
